Itinerary

All events will take place in our backyard at 136 Northumberland Street.

1:30 Ceremony

2:30 Appetizers / Open Bar / Lawn Games

5:00 Reception / Dinner

7:00 Afterparty / Coffee

The party continues until we get a noise complaint or 2AM, whatever comes first.

Food, Dress Code & What to Expect

Come for a buffet-style meal with gluten, dairy and meat-free options. If you have a specific dietary restriction, please let us know when you RSVP and we will accommodate it.

Everything will be outdoors under tents or trees.

The dress code is summer cocktail. Given that the wedding is going to be outdoors in July, and we want you to be comfortable, jackets/ties are optional. If it is over 30°C (86°F), the groom will be wearing a t-shirt and shorts so be prepared to be overdressed if that is the case.

Since the ceremony/reception will be entirely on grass, wide heels or flats are recommended.

Are kids welcome? We prefer you come on your own so that you can enjoy yourself without any responsibilities.

Things To Do

Have some time before or after and want to check out things around Guelph?

Guelph Arboretum - 400 acres of gardens and wooded areas just east of the University of Guelph main campus. Park for free almost anywhere on campus Saturday.

Downtown Guelph is only a 10 minute walk east of our house. Check out The Bookshelf Bookstore & Cinema, Spring Mill Distillery, Wyndham Art Supplies, Brother’s Brewing, Speed River Bicycle, Snakes and Lattes, All Strung Out Fine Yarns and Balzac’s Coffee.

The Guelph Farmer’s Market is also located downtown and open from 7-12 every Saturday. Check out 60+ local and visiting vendors.

Registry

We are fortunate to already have most of the things we need. We have attached a registry below which includes the few items we still need, as well as the option to contribute to the purchase of our dream kayaks.

So Kind Registry is not a typical registry where you can purchase items directly from the registry website. Instead you are able to choose an item, use the link to purchase the item from the suppliers website, and mark on the So Kind Registry that the gift has been given.

Please visit www.sokindregistry.org

Health and Safety

If possible, we would appreciate if you could take a COVID rapid test the day of the wedding to help prevent others from getting sick.

Have COVID? Please stay home.

Please let us know if you will be able to make it so we can plan accordingly. Please reply to us using the E-mail that you received your invitation from.

Interested in hearing your favourite song? Please also include song requests in your RSVP and we will pass them along to the DJ.
